Practicing You

By Adela Rubio

“Practice means to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired.” Martha Graham

Practice is also a signpost to what truly engages your energy.

If your energy is not engaged at a core level there's very little chance of your following through on a regular basis. There must be something much bigger, more compelling, that draws you into the intimate dance of practice.

Sometimes the initial impetus may be the profound lack of something, followed by a kind of ‘nowhere to go' feel. Within that empty chasm, arising potential takes form and something new comes into being.

Practice . . . a road to a new you.
