Meditation is the dissolution of thoughts in the Eternal awareness or Pure consciousness without objectification, knowing without thinking, merging finitude in infinity. Swami Sivananda

What if you thought of meditation as a state of being and not as a practice? What if you experienced yourself as already there instead of as a destination point? What if you knew yourself as the ‘I am' versus the ‘becoming?'

Does an image of a serene being in a lotus position arise in your memory when you think of meditation? That's not IT! Meditation is beingness, it is now. It is full engagement without conscious intention, full being with no attachment, all knowing with ‘no thinking.'

You don't need to do yoga, loving-kindness or any other practice. Practice brings you into an arena of possibility. However, there is no DOING in meditation. It is an arising of presence, a dynamic being.

Let go of all your assumptions of what it is and allow the experience to arise naturally. Know that it is inevitable. In the meantime, breathe, expand, connect and KNOW that YOU are Godness presencing life.
