I came into the online world in the 90's. It was the early days of the Internet and CompuServe was king. That was my first online community and I'll never forget the joy of connecting with like-minded people worldwide.
Technology was a lot clunkier – heavy laptops and the sweet sounds of the modem connecting. Today we're in a different world. We've come to expect speed, quality, and performance… no matter what.
Some things don't change: the need to communicate, finding the market for your message, or how to create community. The tools may differ but the demand doesn't.
Websites can seem quite the challenge. Mine has been up since about 2000. It has gone through many, many transformations. The beauty of this constantly evolving playground of your creative expression is that it grows as you do.
The first thing to get is that it will never be as perfect, polished, and professional as you imagine (unless you get it out there). Just do it and trust that it will evolve as you and your message do.
I've created a Website Project Planner to help you map it out. It will be free to my community for one
week and then I'll secure it for members only.
If you are ready to dive in, there will be a live training to cover the essential elements. Let me know if you're interested in attending.
