Failure: Let’s Begin Again

By Adela Rubio

What if perfection is a moving target? What if failure is the pathway to progress?

Failure is one of those collective beliefs whose time is certainly up, at least in the sense that it is generally perceived by most.

One of the most powerful practices that you can engage in is to question, examine and explore the energy of the words you use. Notice what automatically pops into your head when the word failure pops out of your mouth. I'll bet it's not an expansive thought or emotion that leads to movement.

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

Thomas Edison

Notice how you engage failure. It really is a very useful and extraordinary process. Trying things and not having them work out is not a bad thing. It is how you come to know what works. It also gives you a good sense of where you need to stay alert.

Failure is all about giving you more information about an intention that you have set for yourself. It's not really a loss, it's a win! Go for it!
