Relinquish Protection

Weaving_the_Circle_by_AlterdReality

In many healing traditions practitioners are taught to protect themselves with white light, pyramids, prayers, and grids. I just did a google search and there were 93,400 results for ‘lightworker protection.'

Why protect a lightworker? Protect from what? You are a being of light and yet, in physicality, whatever darkness you experience is as surely contained within you. This realm is a playground of polarities and contrast. The adventure contains it all.  Why resist and create a separation between you and ‘you.' You are ALL of it.

A more radical approach is to be open. Open to the light, open to the dark. Be with it all. Notice and relinquish the urge to set yourself apart. Don't look for the darkness, but welcome it when it crosses your pathway. The dark informs you, as much as the light, often more. It creates crevices of compassion. It pulsates presence to aspects of you that were once asleep.

Mostly, surrender the illusion of being wounded or hurt. There is NOTHING that can harm a boundless being. In the realm of physicality if you are disconnected from what's true you cannot access the depth of your being. Your ability to feel profoundly is a doorway to this understanding.

When you disconnect from your ‘true self' it is equally impossible to connect to another. Whether it's your relationship with your life partner, your family and friends, or your colleagues and business partners, you won't be able to connect truly unless you open completely. Pema Chodron, Buddhist nun, sums it up quite clearly:

When you begin to touch your heart or let your heart be touched, you begin to discover that it's bottomless, that it doesn't have any resolution, that this heart is huge, vast, and limitless. You begin to discover how much warmth and gentleness is there, as well as how much space. Pema Chodron

Relinquish protection, open to ALL of it. The Field of Potentiality awaits your engagement.

Yes ! – beautifully said Adela, thank you.
Protection holds a tightness, a constriction and sense of fear. If you believe that you are the creator of your reality then what do you need protection from? yourself?

  • Alisha says:

I had this conversation with someone yesterday- she argued with me and I just have to let her find her way. Thanks Adela for reminding me that I can embrase my fears/dark or transmute them. LoveLoveLove

Energy Shift – Day 28 – Relinquish Protection!

For me, this morning’s meditation and discussion with Adela Rubio and our energetically connected tribe was all about “Heart”.

“Heart” is the connection we have with others. I felt compelled to share an acronym that came to me from the energy on this call:

H – represents “Holistic” light from our “heart” that fills the darkness of the unknown and replaces it with our own beacon to open the way to a fulfilling life.

E – represents “Energy” & “Enthusiasm” from our “heart” that glows and grows with love. This energy continually exudes from our bodies as golden beams of brilliance flowing throughout the galaxy and beyond.

A – represents “Attitude” & “Awareness” of our immense and beautiful boundless being that is generated from our “heart”, affirming our value, our “I”!

R – represents “Radiating” & “Rippling” of joy & love from our “heart” throughout the cosmos, filling people with inspiration, kindness and gratitude for who we are and what we know to be true.

T – represents the “Transformation” caused by our “heart” that makes us whole, allowing us to be one with ourselves and with others.

    May your H.E.A.R.T. be strong!

    Peace to all!

  • Jo says:

Hi, Oh! Protection is the very thing I am pondering at the moment.
I have been told by energy workers that I need protection because I am too open. I have some kind of M.E/lyme/energy problem, often, when I am in busy places my energy is sucked out, I am working on the symptoms so much with regard to meridian work, emotional work, I’m trying to find protection but it’s proving elusive. My body energys often get out of sync, blocked ect, I’m vibrant and warm usually but still need to get to the bottom of this energy difficulty! Balancing my male female side, drumming, taking bush flower, still a little way to go! Any thoughts?
