Explore Pain with Curiosity

Pain is never permanent. St Teresa of Avila

True, isn't it? And yet at times it can feel so all encompassing. It can seem to be the only thing we notice. What if there were more present than just the ‘pain?' What if the pain were just the initial, surface noticing and there was really so much more that could be garnered from your broadband sensing?

What if you were to treat this ‘pain' with curiosity and wonder and explored the potential in it?

Pain can be a pathway to greater awareness. One of the greatest a-ha's is that pain is unnecessary and is often a symptom of resistance to awareness. Pain (and we're not talking physical pain here) is just another pointer that you are not lined up with what is…really.
