7 Limiting Themes About Your Body That Limit Your Power

Energy Shifts, Free Your Essence

Have you ever wanted to create change in your body and encountered a wall of resistance?

It could have been something as simple as increasing your energy levels or something a bit more challenging like healing a physical condition.

It doesn't matter so much what you're wanting to change but it's very difficult to create shifts when your bandwidth of belief runs contrary to your intention.

Consider that much of what you have been taught about your body, though well meaning, may not be the full picture. Your body is a reflection of your belief system and life experience. What if your body is a flexible reality and a lot more is possible than you may have imagined?

The human body is not a thing or substance, given, but a continuous creation. The human body is an energy system which is never a complete structure; never static; is in perpetual inner self-construction and self-destruction; we destroy in order to make it new.

Chances are that you have some pretty specific ideas, maybe even rigid ideas, of who you are. When your view of life is distorted by these narrow perceptions, the freedom, and opportunities that are your birthright are not readily available. Relax, this is part of the evolutionary adventure and the invitation of these leading-edge times.

Here's the thing… You don't respond to reality itself, but rather to your map of reality. It’s not external reality that limits you, it is your map of that reality. One of the primary elements of your personal ‘reality map' is that of imprints. An imprint is a memory that is formed at an early age and can serve as a root for both the limiting and empowering beliefs that you may have formed as a child. You are initially influenced by other people and experiences. Later on, you continue to give life to these beliefs through your personal choices. The world mirrors that reality for you.

Check into these 7 limiting belief themes about your body and see if any are at play in your world:

  1. Time: Somehow you’ve missed the crucial entry point in time. You might think, “I’m too old.” “I'm too tired.” “It's too far gone.” “It’s too late.”
  2. Genetics: The reason your body is in its present condition is due to heredity. “My mom had heart disease. It runs in the family.  I'm bound to have heart problems too.”
  3. Body Condition: There is some condition that prohibits you from making changes. “My thyroid is out of whack, it’s not my fault.”
  4. Values: You don’t place value on your body, other things are more important. You might also have mixed feelings about the body being good vs bad. “It doesn't matter that I don't exercise. I'm a spiritual being having a physical experience.”
  5. Motivation: You don’t ‘feel’ inspired to take care of yourself. “It won’t make a difference, I’ll just gain the weight again.”
  6. Perfection: Things have to be just so in order for you to take action. “I’ll wait till the kids go back to school.”
  7. Knowledge: You either know too much and are confused, or you don’t know enough. “I haven't found the right program to help me lose weight.”

It may seem that these themes rule your world, but you can affirm to be at choice instead of being at effect. You can help to shape your reality, or you can surrender to your surface assumptions, which are only a reflection of the faulty programming of outdated beliefs.

Here's the good news: You are brand new in every moment. The cells in your body are continually creating and re-creating. There is not one cell in your body now that you had a year ago. You, in the moment, are the creator of your universe. You are recreating your own personal past through your beliefs in every succeeding moment of the present. You can choose a ‘new reality.'

Even science backs up this bold claim. Biologists have discovered that each atom in your body is 99.999% free space, and less than 1% actual “matter”.  All 76 trillion cells are made up of atoms that oscillate at 186,000 miles per second, yet are mainly empty space. This picture of the true nature of your body is far different from what you've been taught. What seems dense and fixed is really free and ever-changing, vibrating and dynamic. You are made of nothing but patterns of resonant energy!!

This new science explains that we are one system; the brain is integrated into the body at a molecular level and therefore neither can be treated separately without the other being directly affected. According to Candace Pert, neuroscientist and pharmacologist who discovered the opiate receptor, the cellular binding site for endorphins in the brain, our bodies are in fact our subconscious minds:

In the end I find I can't separate brain from body. Consciousness isn't just in the head. Nor is it a question of the power of the mind over the body…because they’re flip sides of the same thing. Mind doesn’t dominate body, it becomes body.

Candace Pert

It may take a bit of practice to reorient your reality, but you are equipped for it. One of the greatest tools at your disposal is the power of your imagination. You can speed up change by imagining your desired outcome. Imagine how you would be if your body were fully energized, healthy, and able to do all the things you love to do. Setting an outcome facilitates the change process because of the brain's ability to function as a cybernetic mechanism. This means that once you are clear on the outcome, the brain's natural response will be to organize itself towards whatever images or beliefs you have created in your mind. You will begin to automatically get feedback that will move you closer to your vision of  ‘reality.'

You can change your body. You can embrace your own evolution. You have a choice between limited and limitless. Reality is flexible, as are you.

  1. You have a lot more power than you think to change your body. Much of your external has to do with your internal. As you unhook from old beliefs you are changing every aspect of your physiology and your brain, giving flow back to areas that have been blocked for years, and your body will elicit new responses.

Movement in Awareness, on a consistent basis, will help you release much of the subconscious memory your body has stored. Rewiring your nervous system, respiratory system and lymphatic systems will help elevate your consciousness and awareness in your body to restore your metabolism.

Breathe new life into your Reality!
